“One Degree Over” is a collection of analog and digital photographs that capture emotional aspects of displacement and assimilation. While referring to physical temperature and body discomfort that heat may cause, this series illustrates feelings of curiosity, awe, confusion, loneliness, and hope that the heart fills with when metaphorical “heat” of being an alien is on. Shot across Turkey, Azerbaijan, and the UAE.
